Eating a healthy diet, that follows the Eatwell plate, and includes 2-3 portions of dairy foods a day will help to support your bone health. Being underweight (Body Mass Index (BMI) under 18.5kg/m²) increases your risk of osteoporosis. This may be because body fat stores help to maintain oestrogen levels.
